On behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU), the Risk Dialogue Foundation investigated the further development of holistic risk management at the FOEN. Among other things, a deficit analysis was developed based on open guideline-supported interviews. Based on this, a comprehensive systematic analysis was developed, which systematized the existing deficits and designed proposals for the further development of holistic risk management. The advantages and disadvantages of the organizational forms proposed by the foundation could thus be discussed objectively and prepared as a basis for decision-making by the management. The management decided to implement the further development of the holistic risk management according to these recommendations.
